Your first sales
Your bot is a little shop. You put videos in it, people pay you in Telegram Stars to unlock them, and the Stars are yours. Stars have a cash equivalent, and you can withdraw them through Telegram to your currency of choice. This guide walks you from an empty bot to your first sale.
This guide assumes you already created your own bot. If you have not yet, do that first — it takes about a minute.
What selling actually looks like
It is simpler than it sounds. Someone taps one of your posts, pays with Telegram Stars, and the video is unlocked for them right away. You keep your Stars. That is the whole loop — no shipping, no accounts, no waiting.
How to add videos to your shop
Adding a video is just sending it to your bot, the same way you would send a video to a friend in any chat.
On a computer
Open your bot in Telegram and drag a video file onto the chat (or click the paperclip and pick the file). Send it as a video, not as a link.
On your phone
Open your bot, tap the attachment / upload button, choose the video from your gallery, and send it.

See what you have uploaded
Send /list in your bot to see everything in your shop. Each video is shown with its id — a short number the bot uses to refer to that exact video.
That id matters, because a lot of commands work by id. When you want to change a price, swap a thumbnail, or remove something, you point the command at the right video using its id from /list.
Pricing your videos
You set the price in Telegram Stars. Prices can be as low as 3 Stars and as high as 25,000 Stars. Start low — a price people barely think about gets you your first sales, and first sales are what build momentum. Somewhere around 15 to 50 Stars is a friendly starting point.
Every new video you add starts at your default price, which is 10 Stars until you change it. To set a different default for everything you add from now on, use /setdefaultstars. For example, to make new videos default to 100 Stars:
/setdefaultstars 100You can change the default any time — it only affects videos you add afterward.
To change the price of a video you have already added, use /edit with the video's id from /list. For example, to set video 12 to 100 Stars:
/edit 12 stars 100You are never locked in — change any price whenever you like.
Give people a free taste
You can always make a video free so people can sample what you offer. A free item builds trust and pulls people in to buy the rest.

Once you have a few videos added, this is the step that actually makes sales - if no one knows about your shop, no one will buy.
Promoting is just letting people know your bot exists. You can do that by forwarding a post from your bot to your channel, your groups, or directly to a user in chat — anywhere your followers already are, or any active channel where you'd like to reach new people. You can also post it on social media, or send it in a newsletter. The more you share, the more sales you will get.

What to expect
Your first sale almost always comes after your first real share, not right after you upload. Uploading fills the shop; sharing brings people in. So post something, share it, and keep going. Sellers who share regularly sell regularly.
